Banglar pohela boishakh

Today Pohela Boishakh, initially in Bengal.

Many changes since the last time I spent Pohela Boishakh in Bangladesh. The majority of them for the good of many parties ("function"), women with a beautiful cotton saris on the street (why can not more of Dhaka sometimes it seems that the city man?) A strong sense of cultural unity and happiness through.

The best part of the day was when we went to a textile factory. Suddenly, a few hundreds of young factory workers, streamed out of the gate, all wearing the same beautiful red and white sárí.Saris was a gift from the company. What a breathtaking sight.

Back to the days
We greet people, "Shubha noboborsho" - it sounds too artificial
Do not eat Panta Bhat and ilisha Machh - is a mercenary ploy
We do not block all major roads in the city yesterday en route to the parties

For Pohela Boishakh I say, "Well, you have prepared, as well as the rest of the country."
